Empire Magazine Whiplash Steelbook Cover

Empire Magazine are running a competition to design the front cover of Zavvi's UK steelbook for the fantastic film Whiplash. I didn't have much time in between client work, but this was my entry.

David Bowie Portrait

Some light relief - Elsa from Disney's Frozen

Ever took on a job you wish you had said no to?! I am in the middle of one just now so I needed some light relief. I have been putting it off for months but my niece is (still!) totally hooked on Disney's Frozen so I thought I'd paint Elsa.
Just when you thought you heard the last of it....altogether......"Let it gooooooo, let it gooooooo...."

Jimi Hendrix Portrait

I've been doing a lot of caricature and character illustration client work recently so in my down time, i have been working on this portrait of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix. Continuing with my efforts to keep loose brush strokes, not undo, and not zooming in, I'm slowly creeping towards a look I am happy with.

I hope everyone's 2015 has started off well and let's see what this year brings!
